Three children were knocked down by a car last Friday in Villepreux (Yvelines).

Aged 2 to 8, the young victims were crossing the road on a pedestrian crossing when the accident occurred, reports 78 news.

A child in dire need

When help arrived, a 5-year-old child was trapped under the car.

Suffering from several fractures, he was rushed to Necker Hospital in Paris.

According to our colleagues, his vital prognosis would not be engaged.

Less seriously affected, the two other victims, aged 2 and 8, were taken in relative emergency to the Chesnay hospital.

The driver responsible for the accident was taken into custody.

She had to submit to an alcohol and narcotics test.

The day after the events, the results were not yet known.

In her thirties, the motorist was traveling when her vehicle was not insured.
