SVT Stockholm has previously reported that the National Board of Education has reported three homework help organizations in Stockholm County to the police, after it was discovered that government grants went to private consumption.
Two of these associations were then reported to the police by Kista Folkhögskola.
It was the Rinkeby parents' association and SuVAcademy (Sweden's Young and Adult Academy) that were reported for having sent fraudulent invoices to the Norwegian School Administration by using the name of Kista Folkhögskolan.
Supposed to have used money to buy costumes for thousands of kroner
In a new review by Expressen, it appears that several associations that received homework assistance grants in 2022 have used the money for, among other things, costumes worth thousands of kroner, private trips and rental cars without a direct connection to the business.
