While the pandemic has revealed Europe's weakness in the production of semiconductors compared to Asia (80% of world production comes from there), small Lithuania wants to do well by producing the precious chips directly on his floor.

Almost a year after the opening of the Taiwan representative office in this Baltic country, here is the first cooperation plan.

The Taiwan Institute of Technology and Research chose Teltonika as a partner.

Initially a simple producer of telecommunications systems, this Lithuanian group has become one of the specialists in wireless communication.

In addition to the opening of the factory, the ten million euro investment plan also provides for around twenty scholarships so that Lithuanian engineers can be trained in Taiwan.
