To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), today (6th), an international cruise control ceremony is held.

14 countries, including the host country, Japan, will participate in the frigate ceremony held in Saga Bay, Kanagawa Prefecture, the first time in 7 years for a Korean naval vessel to participate.

The government explained that the decision was made in consideration of the severe security situation, where the North Korean nuclear and missile threat is on the rise.

Accordingly, the latest logistics support ship Soyang entered the port of Yokosuka on the 1st.

18 ships from 12 countries including Korea, the United States, Canada, and Australia will participate.

The ROK Navy dispatched the destroyer Gwanggaeto the Great in 2002 and the destroyer Daejoyeong in 2015 to the Japanese fleet ceremony, respectively.

The analysis is that our battle crews do not want to show their salute to the Maritime Self-Defense Forces Aircraft, which is similar in shape to the Rising Sun Flag.
