318 thousand Russians entered the service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as part of partial mobilization.

This was announced by President Vladimir Putin in a conversation with volunteers during a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Minin and Pozharsky in Moscow.

“We already have 318 thousand (mobilized. -

).

Why 318 thousand?

Because the volunteers are coming.

The number of volunteers is not decreasing,” Putin said.

According to him, 49,000 of them are already in the army and performing combat missions, while the rest are still preparing: “Of course, the state is doing everything to support them.”

Recall that on October 28, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to the President on the completion of measures for partial mobilization in the country.

According to him, the task was completed to call up 300,000 people for military service.

Benefits for volunteers

Along with this, Vladimir Putin signed a law on the status of volunteer formations assisting the Russian armed forces, as well as their members.

So, according to the document, the status of military personnel under the contract with the corresponding benefits and social guarantees now extends to volunteers.

Another law signed by the head of state states that citizens undergoing alternative civilian service in the RF Armed Forces, military formations and bodies as civilian personnel will continue to be in alternative service when mobilization is announced.

According to another law, citizens with an outstanding criminal record can be called up for military service as part of mobilization.

This does not apply to those who are convicted of crimes against sexual integrity, terrorism, treason, and a number of others.

Putin also signed a law according to which a call to mobilize an "employer - an individual" or "an employer who is the sole founder (participant) of a legal entity, simultaneously possessing the powers of the sole executive body of this legal entity" will be the basis for termination of the employment contract.

About Donbass and the pro-Russian position of its inhabitants

During the conversation with the volunteers, Vladimir Putin also said that he had discussed with his colleagues the night before the restoration of Donbass, in particular Mariupol.

“Mariupol is a very famous, ancient, one might say, Russian city.

Peter I founded, as you know, his first military flotilla there, won the first victories, then Suvorov made his steppe campaigns there, and Catherine II equipped these lands.

This is a very interesting place.

Of course, there is something to work on there,” the Russian President said.

According to him, on the territory of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, it is necessary to restore housing, social infrastructure and museums.

He added that the inhabitants of these territories should also understand that their pro-Russian position is correct and based on historical tradition, despite the fact that they grew up in the conditions of Bandera propaganda.

“Today we celebrate National Unity Day.

And these objects of material culture, which confirm the entire course of historical events that are connected with this land, with these people, first of all, they are very important for people who have lived for 30 years in some absolutely crazy, idiotic nationalist propaganda to understand where they come from,” he stressed.

Along with this, the head of state noted that the Russian authorities are working to simplify procedures for the restoration of documents for refugees from Ukraine: “Now we are working on this, so that, of course, there are no abuses here, so that no one takes advantage of the situation in which you find yourself for some selfish purposes.

In addition, Vladimir Putin drew attention to the difference between those who came from Ukraine to Russia and those who went to Europe.

“Feel the difference between those people who came from Ukraine to us and those who are in Europe.

They go to restaurants and demand discounts for themselves, but people ask us to work ... Well, the truth is, that’s how it is,” the Russian leader said.

“The Ukrainian people are the first and main victims of the deliberate sublimation of hatred towards the Russians”

At a meeting with historians and representatives of traditional religions in Russia, Vladimir Putin said that the West was throwing Ukrainians into the furnace of hostilities.

“It is Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, that is the first and main victim of the deliberate sublimation of hatred for the Russians, for Russia,” he noted.

According to him, the West in Ukraine managed to create in fact anti-Russia, sowing hatred and raping the minds of people, depriving them of their true history: “Everything has been done in order to reshape the minds of millions.

The wick was very skillfully raised to the disintegration of our country.

Meanwhile, in Russia, as Putin added, the Ukrainian people have always been treated with "respect and warmth": "That's how it was and is, despite today's tragic confrontation."
