• Interior The Police relieves the chief inspector of Valencia who assured in a Vox act that "practically all" of the criminals are "illegal immigrants"

  • Ferris Police inspector removed for linking illegal immigration to crime leaves active duty

Some thirty migrant organizations, represented by Valencia Acull, have filed a complaint with the

Valencia

Prosecutor 's Office for

a hate crime

against the former commissioner and chief inspector of the National Police in Valencia, Ricardo Ferris, who equated immigration with crime.

The entities and platforms ask that Ferris be charged with "

inciting hatred against foreigners"

, a crime that is punishable by a prison sentence of 1 to 4 years and a fine of 6 to 12 months, for the words he spoke in the past. October 14 at the conference organized by the Vox parliamentary group in the Valencian Courts and the Foundation for the Defense of the Spanish Nation (Denaes), and supported by the association A Police for the 21st Century.

The former head of the Central Police Station in Valencia was separated and has opened a file of reserved information by the Ministry of the Interior for having equated illegal immigration and crime.

In addition, he assured that most of the crimes "are carried out by foreigners" and that, specifically, all the violations "are being committed by people who come from outside."

However, the organizations also focus on the words of the former inspector in which, according to his complaint, he publicly urged "to act and turn our noses up" at "the current situation" and stated that "we Spaniards are a peaceful people, but unfortunately we are going to have to stop being so".

""There is a

clear exhortation to Spanish citizens to fight against the immigrant/criminal

, criminal/immigrant.

We are not facing an isolated comment, but rather an extensive intervention plagued with falsehoods that we consider not only tendentious but criminal", assures the organizations in their complaint filed with the Prosecutor's Office.

Ferris was separated by the Ministry of the Interior and last Monday he announced that he had requested to leave active service and his move to the second activity.

In addition, he warned that he would respond "in front of the minister, responding to each and every one of his attacks and defamations with all the forcefulness that he deserves."
