The understanding of many supposed intellectuals for the violent climate activists is tantamount to a rejection of the democratic constitutional state.

In all seriousness, in view of the blocked rescue vehicles, the drivers are now being pointed out at the government, which is not complying with climate regulations.

You are only acting to protect the rights of future generations.

And then, of course, there is a severely trapped person who has to be accepted as collateral damage caused by the war.

It can be assumed that this understanding of freedom ends at the expense of others at one's own exit, at the airport counter anyway.

But above all: There are also reasons to stick to the streets for other principles of the state.

For a united Europe, for the rule of law, federalism - or for the protection of unborn life, the borders, for the preservation of people and country.

The state can also be accused of deficits in these areas.

But you can also do something about it: vote differently, organize yourself, demonstrate.

This is how terror can begin

Open violation of the law, on the other hand, is not an option in a civilized community.

It is an embarrassing tale that the very last generation only briefly interrupts the free ride.

In addition to the basic rights to life, limb and property, the democratic form is openly questioned as too sluggish and every constitutional procedure is ridiculed.

This is how terror can begin - and in the case of groups with other goals, that would have been mentioned long ago and a big new chapter in the report for the protection of the Constitution would have opened.

However, the violent struggle in the name of the climate carries what is currently the highest good, at least on its flag.

And he has considerable public goodwill behind him.

That is the real scandal - and the greatest danger for the free basic order, which actually wants to solve the biggest problems peacefully and in the agreed procedure.

If the rule of law is not careful here, it will not survive this turning point.
