Seven interrogation sessions

on the merits by around twenty defense lawyers and civil parties.

During this period,

Sidiki Diakité Toumba

appeared tired, but in his role sometimes as a public entertainer or sometimes exasperated by the attitude of the lawyers, he has so far won the battle of public opinion.

He returned to the court the experience and everything that it did not know.

It was painted black, as he said.

So he first seeks to obtain the verdict of public opinion.

And I believe that this phase is about to be won

, ”said Maître Paul Yomba Kourouma, defense lawyer.

Wednesday's audition was the last for Sidiki Diakité.

According to his lawyer, his exhausted client gave his impressions.

The fight for conviction, the persuasion of the court since he has decided to tell the truth, because knowing that only the truth can set him free.

The court apparently seems confident, especially the civil parties who, in reality, have suffered damage and who are in the process of renouncing their actions one after the other

”, comments Me Paul Yomba Kourouma.

Despite the judge's call to order, the lawyers for the civil parties or the defense insisted on asking questions in a loop.

For observers, it is the presence of cameras in the courtroom that transform this trial into a television show.
