S about SD's criticism of the story time: "Feels outdated and old-fashioned"

According to Maia Dahlberg, there has been strong political support for working with diversity issues for many years.

- We have a library plan, and a policy for LGBTQ issues with action plans, so there is no doubt that we will work on these issues.

This type of arrangement and event suits some parent groups and children very well, says Maia Dahlberg (S).

"It's about ignorance"

The Sweden Democrats' criticism is that the storytime's content constitutes sexual allusions to children.

But Maia Dahlberg (S) believes that the criticism is about ignorance. 

- It is based on prejudices and that you don't bother to challenge these prejudices.

It is also about not understanding what norm criticism is and how important it is.

All major changes we have made in society have actually been based on norm criticism.

Is there any chance this storytime will be stopped?

- There is no chance of it being stopped, says Maia Dahlberg (S).
