French reality TV star and model, Maren Al-Haymar, revealed her conversion to Islam, pointing out that she converted to Islam months ago, and did not disclose this until yesterday, Wednesday.

The reality TV star posted a video clip on her social media accounts, in which she documented the moment she pronounced the two testimonies in a mosque in France, in response to media reports that appeared some time ago confirming that she had converted to Islam.

Al-Haymar said through her account on Instagram, "There are ways that you must take alone, without family or friends, only between you and God."

She added that some people knew about her conversion to Islam, but many are still asking her about the matter, indicating that this prompted her to announce it officially, after long months of reservation.

The "Princes of Love" star describes her decision to enter Islam, saying, "It was a choice of the soul, heart, and mind," adding that she had developed tremendously, revised her sense of priorities and rethought certain life choices.

Maren Al-Haymar was born in July 1993, in Bordeaux (southern France), and she has Moroccan-Egyptian descent, and she has a twin sister named Oceane Al-Haymar.
