The Restos du Coeur warehouse in Aubière (Puy-de-Dôme) was robbed last weekend.

The theft was only discovered on Monday, when the volunteers arrived.

The thieves left with food but also destroyed two trucks;

They also stole warm clothes and shoes.

As they left, the criminals left the cold room door open, forcing the volunteers to throw away twelve pallets of frozen food.

They left the scene in two vans belonging to the association, which were then found a few kilometers away.

One was burned, the other sprinkled with extinguishing powder to erase the traces.

This flight represents "three weeks of operation", explained the president of the Restos du Coeur du Puy-de-Dôme.

The burglars have not been found.
