At the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, Russian special services prevented a terrorist attack, said Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, at a meeting of the secretaries of the Security Council of the CIS countries.

“We received information from our special services about the prevention of a terrorist act at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant,” TASS quoted Patrushev as saying.

On November 3, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, announced the averted terrorist attack at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which the Kyiv regime had been preparing since spring.

According to him, a cache with explosives left by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February-March was found on the territory of the largest nuclear facility in Europe.

The sabotage, as noted by Rogov, was supposed to be carried out by one of the employees of the nuclear power plant, who could be recruited by the SBU.

“The purpose of the sabotage was the desire to destroy the heating main connecting the nuclear power plant with Energodar, thereby leaving the population of the city without heat this winter,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

The day before, the Rosenergoatom concern reported that the houses of the inhabitants of the city of Energodar began to receive heating through the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

In turn, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov expressed hope that the shelling of the ZNPP would decrease due to the presence of IAEA inspectors.

At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Kyiv regime continues provocations in order to create a threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, shelling the territory with artillery.
