Ivanov told RIA Novosti about this.

He stressed that there can be no winner in the game of “destruction of international relations”.

“That is why we consider it irrational to introduce any kind of mirror restrictions in connection with the ongoing petty attempts of the Baltic countries and neighbors who have joined them to prove that a trip to the “sacred” European Union is a privilege only for a very narrow circle of “good Russians,” Ivanov concluded.

Earlier, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky announced that Russians with tourist Schengen visas would be banned from entering the Czech Republic from October 25.

The Finnish government previously approved the closure of the border for Russian tourists from September 30.

However, this decision does not affect citizens entering the country for humanitarian reasons.

Prior to this, the decision of the authorities of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to impose a ban on the entry of Russian citizens with Schengen visas issued in other EU states came into force.
