Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia will not act to its own detriment if Western countries impose a price ceiling on Russian energy resources.

As noted by the Australian edition of The Conversation, the policy of anti-Russian sanctions pursued by Western countries does not reduce, but only increases Russia's income.
