Monday, October 31 marks the 12th day of hearings in the trial of the Conakry stadium massacre in September 2009. The case has been on trial in Guinea since September 28.
The repression of an opposition meeting had killed more than 150 people.
At least a hundred women had been raped.
For two weeks now, Aboubacar Sidiki Diakité, known as "Toumba", has been appearing.
He was facing defense attorneys today.

A defense more divided than ever, while the non-aggression pact, concluded by the lawyers at the start of this trial, did not resist the passage of "Toumba" at the bar.
The junta leader's former aide-de-camp designated Moussa Dadis Camara as the ordering party, and Moussa Tiegboro Camara and Marcel Guilavogui as the executioners of the massacre.
The face to face with the latter's lawyer turned into a duel on Monday morning.
For more than three hours, Master Salifou Béavogui tries to destabilize "Toumba".
A rain of questions falls on the accused who sometimes loses his calm, but remains faithful to his version.
He often answers on the side, even allows himself humorous traits.
While he claims to have met Marcel and his men before arriving at the stadium, the lawyer asks him to describe the forces commanded by the nephew of the former head of state.
“Toumba” replies: “
I was not reporting
”.
Laughter echoes in the courtroom.
More serious, in the afternoon, "Toumba" is walled in silence.
When questioned by Master Samory Traoré, Dadis Camara's lawyer, his answers are evasive.
During this 12th day of hearing, "Toumba" did not make any new revelations about the massacre at the Conakry stadium.
Everyone in Guinea is now awaiting the appearance of Moussa Dadis Camara.
