Brazil votes this Sunday for its next president.

In the race, Lula and Bolsonaro, very tight in the polls.

And if the Brazilians of France are also invited to elect their head of state, they are no exception to the rule and hesitate greatly between the two politicians.

Everything is decided on Sunday.

The Brazilian presidential poster is unprecedented: far left against far right, Lula against Bolsanaro.

Some observers will also say that it is indicative of a time of crisis and lack of benchmarks.

Some telling figures: 156 million voters but 32 million abstainers in the first round.

And even though voting is compulsory in Brazil for 18 to 70 year olds, the fine is ridiculously low.

In front of the Brazilian embassy in Paris, some voters still rushed to make their choice.

"It's been Lula since the first round"

On the one hand, some fervently support Lula.

"For me, today, I had no doubts, it was Lula from the first round", defends this Brazilian.

“Certainly, there was corruption during the Lula government, but today, during the Bolsonaro government, there was no investigation. I think that this gentleman there, he will clear very quickly. danger to democracy."

Conversely, other voters do not understand how to preserve their democracy by placing Lula at the head of the country.

"Brazil will become communist, our freedoms will be taken away because Lula said he will control the media. Lula has not yet won and there is already censorship everywhere", denounces a Franco-Brazilian.

"Bolsonaro does nothing"

"Bolsonaro does nothing!", Indignant another voter in front of the polling station.

"I don't know how he got to the presidency of Brazil. I don't realize how there are still people who vote for him because he's a stupid guy!"

she says.

However, there are several who support him, like this Brazilian: "I don't know what will happen today, but I prefer Bolsonaro to make a good government".

At the polls, the Franco-Brazilians tear each other apart just as much as the Brazilians.
