“The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Russian competent departments, is working out practical steps in connection with the involvement of British specialists in the preparation of a terrorist act in the Black Sea on October 29 and the training of the Ukrainian military, as stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense,” Zakharova said in a comment on the website of the Foreign Ministry.

She added that the Western countries' refusal to jointly investigate the Nord Stream incident shows that they have something to hide.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that representatives of the British Navy took part in the planning and implementation of the terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea on September 26 to undermine the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

The Ministry of Defense also stated that a unit of the British Navy helped the terrorists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the attack on Sevastopol using UAVs.

Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed to the silence of Europe against the backdrop of undermining the Nord Stream, although European companies are represented in gas pipeline projects.
