Agreements have already been concluded between the departments, and joint work is underway to establish the facts of the genocide of peoples during the Great Patriotic War.

“I am sure that we will find new areas of our cooperation, taking into account the fact that time does not stand still, we are facing new tasks and we will certainly solve them together,” said Alexander Bastrykin.

The joint work of the investigative bodies of the two countries is carried out in the direction of improving the training and advanced training of personnel.

During the discussion of issues related to the events in Ukraine, the heads of departments agreed on the legal aspects of further cooperation and noted the importance of joint efforts to counter modern challenges and threats.

Earlier, the Russian Investigative Committee completed the investigation of 116 criminal cases on the facts of crimes by the Ukrainian military against the civilian population and Russian military personnel on the territory of Russia and Ukraine.
