In September of this year, the Nord Stream-1 and Nord Stream-2 natural gas pipelines had multiple leaks in waters near Denmark and Sweden.
Preliminary findings in Sweden and Denmark both indicated that the damage to the pipeline was caused by a violent explosion.
After the investigation, the Swedish Security Service said the suspicion of sabotage of the pipeline had increased.
The "North Stream-1" pipeline was completed in 2011, starting from Russia in the east to Germany in the west.
The "Beixi-2" pipeline to be completed in 2021 has not yet been put into use, but some natural gas is stored inside it.
