The Russian military repelled the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

“Two reinforced company tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the positions of Russian troops in the direction of the settlements of Malaya Aleksandrovka in the Kherson region and Ternovye Pody in the Nikolaev region.

As a result of the fire defeat, the enemy’s offensive was thwarted, ”said the official representative of the department, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

During the briefing, he clarified that as a result of the actions of the Russian military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were thrown back to their original lines.

At the same time, more than 60 Ukrainian servicemen, six armored combat vehicles and seven vehicles were destroyed.

In addition, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy, with forces of up to two company tactical groups, reinforced by mercenaries, attacked the positions of Russian units in the direction of several settlements in the Kharkov region.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, units of Russian troops stopped the enemy.

As a result of fire damage, more than 120 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks, four armored combat vehicles and four pickup trucks were destroyed.

Air, missile and artillery strikes hit four command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkiv and Kherson regions, as well as on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

Along with this, 62 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 186 districts were hit.

Among other things, the Ukrainian defense enterprise located in the Dnepropetrovsk region for the production of solid rocket fuel, explosives and gunpowder for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.

In the Zaporozhye region, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down.

Air defense systems destroyed four drones in a day.

Six shells of the American multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) HIMARS were shot down in the air.

The situation in the DPR

Denis Pushilin, interim head of the DPR, said that the Maryinsky direction of the front remains one of the most difficult, but the forces of the republic have some success.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, according to Pushilin, the situation is changing dynamically.

According to Pushilin, the enemy's bridgehead was destroyed on the eastern bank of the Stallion River.

“These are the positions from where the activities were carried out by the enemy just on the Kremennaya-Svatovo highway,” the acting head of the DPR specified.

He also said that in the Artyomovsky direction, the enemy forces had managed to gain a foothold in the city itself.

Pushilin expressed hope that if the city was liberated, the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would be disrupted.

“If Artyomovsk is liberated, it will be a very serious blow to the enemy.

Roads along which ammunition and reinforcements are brought will be violated.

He believes that such conditions will create a favorable situation for the liberation of Kramatorsk, which, in turn, will allow moving on to the liberation of the north of the republic.
