A runaway inversely proportional to the time the idol should spend on stage – a song a priori.

The marathon performance is that of Coldplay, which began a series of 10 concerts over 14 days on Tuesday, as part of its "Music of the Spheres" tour.

But it was the announcement of Jin's presence for one evening that sparked a wind of madness.

He will perform for the first time on stage his single "The Astronaut", co-written with Chris Martin, the singer of the British group.

These days, finding a room in Buenos Aires (3 million inhabitants) has become mission impossible.

Social networks are panicking, Jin occupying six of the top ten trends in the country on Twitter with more than half a million tweets on Tuesday, the day of his arrival, through the hashtags #seokjin, #JinEnArgentina or #Welcome to Arjintinia.

More than a thousand fans came to Ezeiza airport, hoping in vain to catch a glimpse of him -- Jin slipped out through a back door.

In the vicinity of the concert, tents are already installed, the first from the announcement of his arrival last Thursday.

"I've been following them (BTS) since 2017, they've never been to Argentina, and there's only one coming, but it's already wonderful for me," enthuses Rocio Pega, 23. years, who had bought tickets to see Coldplay on October 25 and 29.

Then took a third one for the 28th, "THE" day when Jin will appear.

On the outskirts of the Monumental, the stadium of the River Plate club, which will accommodate 600,000 people over ten dates, the organization prevails.

On Wednesday, Jin's fans "held" 18 tents, set up on a corner of the lawn.

See Jin in the flesh

About forty people are "attached" to a tent, and come during the day, according to their schedules, obligations, to "occupy" it for a vacation.

The objective is to keep the location until the end.

Tent "1" will see its 40 "guards" enter the first Friday evening, then tent "2", etc.

The goal: to be "in the pit, closer to the stage".

Because for the "Army", as BTS fans call themselves, it doesn't matter that the concert is broadcast on the screens of 3,500 cinemas in more than 75 countries, on the evening of the 28th on the American continent, then on Saturday the 29th elsewhere.

You have to see Jin in the flesh.

Because the 29-year-old pop idol, the oldest of the septet, must like all able-bodied South Korean men under 30, perform his compulsory military service (two years), and present himself by next December to be incorporated.

Buenos Aires could therefore be his last scene for a long time.

"When they (BTS) have finished their military service, we want them to come back here and know that they are welcome" in Argentina, says Sumilda Garcia, an 18-year-old student, who smiles blushing at the mere mention of the name of Jin.

Or like Agustina, student of Moreno, who admits that "never before" she had camped for a concert.

So, it doesn't matter if the nights are cool, "complicated, with the rain, the boxes that we put on the ground, the tarpaulins, the blankets. We manage among ourselves as best we can", assures Sumilda.
