About sixty firefighters intervened to try to prevent the spread of the flames.

They used two large water lances and a spear on a ladder.

They brought the fire under control after two hours of intervention, according to our colleagues.

Thanks to the rapid and efficient action of the emergency services, the fire did not spread to the warehouses and homes located near the abandoned building.

No casualties were reported.
