"Special Missions" train riot

35 affiliated officers and individuals working in the Special Tasks Department in Al Ain participated in the course (riot control tactics and maintaining order, the second phase), which was organized by the Strategic and Performance Development Office in the Special Tasks Department in Abu Dhabi, for a period of two weeks.



The head of the Special Missions Section in Al Ain in the Special Tasks Department of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, Lt. Col. Ahmed Ali Al Shehhi, said that the training course aims to provide the participants with advanced skills in combating riots, dispersing and controlling demonstrators using the latest technologies and advanced weapons and the use of police dogs, in addition to tactical methods. to reach those involved in the riots.



He added that the participants received theoretical and practical information on how to disperse riots, disperse crowds using basic foot tactics during demonstrations, secure buildings and places where riots and chaos occur, raid and evacuate buildings, and other advanced practical exercises.



He stressed the importance of this course in rehabilitating and training the police cadre and developing their capabilities and skills in dealing with crises and accidents, pointing to the interest of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command in providing the best training and practical capabilities to enhance the process of security and stability throughout the country, praising the efforts of the trainees during the course in acquiring knowledge to develop their skills in scientific methods And the process to be able to perform their duties efficiently, and to apply what they have learned on the ground in emergency situations.
