Yemeni moves to implement the decision to classify the "Houthis" as a terrorist group

The Yemeni political leadership, represented by the Presidential Command Council and the Yemeni government, began implementing the National Defense Council's decision to classify the Houthi militia as a terrorist group, while the militias continued their escalation with marches towards oil centers inside Yemen.

The official Yemeni news agency, "Saba", stated that a meeting of a mini-government was held in Aden, headed by President Rashad Al-Alimi, and discussed government measures and reforms in the telecommunications and maritime transport sectors, and ways to transfer their centers from Sanaa to the temporary capital, Aden, in order to pull the rug from under the militias that use those institutions in favor of their terrorism.

The meeting stressed the importance of developing the communications system, marine cables, the air navigation center and the infrastructure of Yemeni airports and ports, as well as the importance of improving services and public revenues, and utilizing them to alleviate the human suffering caused by the militias.

The Yemeni government began implementing the decision related to classifying the Houthis as a terrorist group, and took economic and financial measures to ensure that citizens and their humanitarian conditions in areas controlled by militias were not affected. Transfer of bank centers to Aden.
