A policeman died and seven people injured, one seriously.
This is the result of a tragic accident on the A13 motorway, near Saint-Mards-de-Blacarville (Eure), which occurred between Rouen and Caen on the night of Monday to Tuesday.
A soldier was seriously injured.
According to France Bleu Normandie, the accident, which occurred shortly before 3 a.m., involved six vehicles in total: a heavy goods vehicle, a car, two gendarmerie vehicles, a tow truck and an SAPN vehicle, the highway company.
It was the heavyweight that hit the five other vehicles, specifies France Bleu, in circumstances still unknown.
“Aged 21, the driver of the heavy goods vehicle, also injured, was taken to Elbeuf hospital”, specifies BFMTV.
Some 29 firefighters, two medical teams and the gendarmerie are mobilized on this accident.
