Government: There is no change in the duration of study in the first semester in universities and institutes

The Media Center of the Egyptian Council of Ministers confirmed that the news spread of a decision to change the duration of study for the first semester in universities and institutes for the current academic year is untrue.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research stated that the duration of the study in the first semester is the same without making any changes to it.

She appealed to the students not to be drawn into this false news.

The exams for the first semester are scheduled to start on January 9 and will continue until January 26.

The “Pricing” committee fixes fuel prices

The Petroleum Products Automatic Pricing Committee decided to fix the selling price of gasoline products of all three types in the local market at EGP 8 per liter of 80 liter, at EGP 9.25 per liter for 92 petrol, at EGP 10.75 per liter for gasoline 95, at EGP 7.25 per liter for diesel, and at EGP 5,000 per ton. For the price of diesel for non-electricity and bakery uses.

The star, Ahmed Al-Awadi, had interacted with the cleaning worker who was expelled by the manager of one of the "Kushari Al-Tahrir" restaurants, after the social media pioneers circulated the video that documented the moment he was expelled from the restaurant.
