“In the South Donetsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Russian troops with the forces of two company tactical groups reinforced with tanks,” the military department said in a report.
It is noted that the enemy was stopped by artillery fire and dispersed.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 40 military personnel, seven armored combat vehicles and four vehicles.
Earlier, the deputy head of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, said that all attempts by the Ukrainian military to break through the defense line in the region were repelled.
