In the clip, Olena Bilan describes the concerns about the energy supply in the coming months.

The power grid in hundreds of Ukrainian cities was knocked out during the week.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy tweeted that up to 30 percent of Ukraine's energy system may have been destroyed.

In addition, the president accuses Russia of laying mines at a power plant dam in southern Ukraine.

Kyiv resident Volodymyr Senatovskyi clearly notices the recent attacks on Ukrainian power plants.

- We have had major problems with electricity, water and internet.

People are encouraged to conserve electricity at home.

It is more muted in the cities, he says.

The entrepreneur: "The IT industry is important for the economy"

Andreas Flodström, CEO of the tech company Beetroot, runs a business in Ukraine based in Kyiv.

The company had 550 employees when the war broke out eight months ago – now 450 of them remain in the country.

- Initially, we did not know if our employees would survive.

Some of them are mobilized, all are alive but all are affected.

We are working more or less as usual.

- Interest in working in the IT industry is growing and we are becoming an even more important pillar in the economy, he says.

Mattresses and sleeping bags in the office

The offices have generators, battery solutions and access to the internet via satellite.

Beetroot also equips the offices with mattresses and sleeping bags so that employees with families can live there if necessary.

The bombings lead to planned interruptions while the electricity supply is repaired.

- It will be a bit inconvenient, but employees adjust their working hours to when and where there is electricity.

How are you thinking about winter?

- We are doing everything we can and hope it is enough.

It is a likely scenario that there will be some problems, perhaps more than now.

But as long as there is electricity in periods, we can handle it, says Andreas Flodström.

He continues:

- For each bombing, the sense of purpose among the Ukrainians increases.
