The General Directorate of the National Police has agreed this Thursday to relieve the chief inspector of the Central Police Station of the city of Valencia, Ricardo Ferris, who in an act organized by DENAES and the Vox parliamentary group in this autonomous community said that the "practice All of the street crime is from illegal immigrants.

The decision has been adopted at the proposal of the Police Headquarters in the Valencian Community, according to sources from the department headed by Fernando Grande-Marlaska.

In addition, a reserved information has been opened to clarify "all the details" in relation to his participation in this act on October 14 and "purify the responsibilities that might arise".

The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, had announced this Thursday that an internal investigation had been opened following the statements of Ricardo Ferris assuring that "immigrants who arrive by boat are all criminals."

The delegate censured these demonstrations, considering them "absolutely despicable, reprehensible and, above all, false."

In addition, he pointed out that "they do not respond to any real or objective data", while denouncing that the police officer "all he is doing is attacking the dignity, prestige and good work of the National Police Corps", which " doesn't represent it at all."

"From minute one in which we were aware of the existence of this video, an internal investigation has been opened and, parallel to that, we have filed a petition to have his commission of services revoked by the one who is currently chief inspector of that police station," said the government delegate.

The head of the Central Police Station of the city of Valencia assured last Friday during the day, which was attended by the national vice president of Vox, Javier Ortega Smith, that "practically all street crime is illegal immigrants" .

"In the small boats everyone confesses to you that they are criminals and ex-convicts," he said, according to what the newspaper 'Levante-EMV' advanced this Thursday.

Ferris also assured that, for him, "illegal immigration is equal to crime" or that "for five years" the Police no longer "works with national criminals", among other manifestations.
