The situation in the Kherson region is under control, there are no advances of Ukrainian troops.

This was announced by the deputy head of the regional administration Kirill Stremousov.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to attack in small groups, but this cannot be called a counteroffensive.

“Don't listen to Ukronazi propaganda.

The Russian army confidently destroys any attempts to break through to Kherson by punishers and mercenaries.

The night passed without change.

The front lines are inviolable,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

At the same time, in a conversation with RIA Novosti, Stremousov spoke about the fact that after the clashes with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region, several more regions of Ukraine would be liberated: “We plan to launch a counterattack on Nikolaev, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk after repelling the attack on Kherson.”

The day before, it was reported that the Kyiv regime had sent several tens of thousands of APU fighters and a large amount of military equipment to the Kherson region.

At the same time, Russian troops repelled all the attacks that the Ukrainian military made in the direction of Novaya Kamenka-Berislav.

On October 20, martial law came into force in the Kherson region, as well as in the DPR, LPR and Zaporozhye region.

The corresponding decree was signed by Russian leader Vladimir Putin and approved by the Federation Council.

In these four constituent entities of the Russian Federation, territorial defense is being introduced and interdepartmental coordinating bodies are being created.

“Let me remind you that martial law was in effect in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions before they joined Russia.

And now we need to formalize this regime already within the framework of Russian legislation.

Therefore, I signed a decree on the introduction of martial law in these four regions of the Russian Federation.

It will immediately be sent for approval to the Federation Council.

The State Duma has also been informed of the decision,” the head of state noted during a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

“Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is needed by Zelensky as a PR campaign”

The bridge to enter Energodar, damaged as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has been restored.

This was announced by the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia", a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region Vladimir Rogov.

“Restoration work was completed in the shortest possible time.

Repair work took only three hours.

Replaced broken floor slabs.

Immediately after that, traffic was launched on the bridge.

In addition, a decision was made to expand and strengthen other entrances to Energodar, which are reserve ones, so that our enemies do not have the opportunity to paralyze the supply of the city, ”RIA Novosti quotes him.

On the eve of the Ukrainian armed forces from the American MLRS HIMARS struck at the building of the administration of Energodar, the bridge and the Luch substation.

Rogov also believes that the intensification of hostilities by the Kyiv regime is connected with the upcoming US midterm elections on November 8.

“Zelensky has been given the task of capturing Kherson and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant at any cost.

If Kherson is strategically important for them, then Zelensky needs the nuclear plant as a PR campaign to attract the attention of the international community to his miserable person, ”explained a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.

On October 19, Russian servicemen destroyed a Ukrainian landing force that was trying to seize the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 90 Ukrainian servicemen and 14 boats.
