“In the Krasnolimansky direction, attempts by the enemy to force the Zherebets River at night in the areas of the settlements of Stelmahovka, Rozovka and Raigorodka of the Luhansk People’s Republic were thwarted,” the statement says.
It is specified that the Russian military destroyed more than 30 Ukrainian militants, three armored combat vehicles and two cars.
On October 18, the Russian Ministry of Defense also stated that the Russian Armed Forces had destroyed more than 40 Ukrainian soldiers in the Krasnolimansky direction in a day and thwarted attempts to cross the enemy across the Zherebets River.
