The main suspect in the death of Lola, a 12-year-old schoolgirl found dead in a trunk, was indicted for murder, rape accompanied by acts of torture and barbarity and imprisoned on Monday.

This 24-year-old young woman, who admitted the facts, was subject to an obligation to leave the territory, according to a source close to the investigation.

In the neighborhood where Lola lived, psychosis wins the inhabitants.

For four days, the 19th arrondissement of Paris has been in mourning after the disappearance of Lola, this 12-year-old schoolgirl found dead in a plastic box placed on the sidewalk.

The main suspect, a 24-year-old woman, has been in pre-trial detention since Monday.

While the investigation continues, students from Georges Brassens College returned to school on Monday.

The parents of students in the neighborhood, still in shock, react to no longer leave their children alone and unsupervised.

Parents of students now come to pick up their children themselves

In front of the gate of the Georges Brassens college, a crowd of parents of students.

Some with flowers, others dressed in black, all came to pick up their children themselves after school, traumatized by the disappearance of Lola.

From now on, Anissa, mother of a schoolgirl, will leave classes every day.

"It's close to us. I know the girl very well. We are all afraid, even us, the parents, the children too", she slips into the microphone of Europe 1.

What we know about the death of Lola, whose body was discovered in a suitcase

Beside her, her granddaughter Kénaya shakes her hand and won't let go.

Lola was his friend, his classmate in the playground.

So for her too, there is no question of going to college alone as before.

"I prefer that mom is there to go to school, to accompany me because I'm a little scared," she whispers.

"I think the worst"

At home, too, the discourse has changed.

Since the tragedy, Amel has been repeating the rules of caution to her daughter, a fifth-grade student, every day.

"I tell him not to trust, to be careful, not to talk to strangers. Before he was told not to talk to men, now he is told not to talk to women either. I think the worst, it's psychosis", explains this mother.
