“The Ministry of Education is in favor, it proposes to provide an appropriate deferment to teaching staff, taking into account the specifics, the need to work in schools, in educational organizations,” Korenev told RIA Novosti.
He added that the department intends to discuss this issue with the Russian Ministry of Defense and find a compromise.
Earlier, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova said that a deferment from mobilization was also granted to fathers of three or more children under 16 years old.
