The four parties that will now govern Ängelholm's municipality collect together 23 of the 51 mandates in the council.

- We are close to each other politically and have historical experience of good cooperation, comments municipal councilor Liss Böcker (C).

Electoral cooperation

The Green Party, which is now left out, only received one mandate in the municipal council, which would not have been enough to create a majority for Alliance Ängelholm.

Liss Böcker (C) does not want to comment further on why the party should not be part of the alliance.

- We have also had discussions with the Green Party, but it has ended up like this.

It is not impossible that we will be able to have electoral cooperation with the Green Party in the future.

On Monday, municipal councilor Robin Holmberg (M) will present the new board to the municipal council.

Members of committees and boards will be elected in mid-December to take up their duties on the first of January next year.

During the coming term, there will be a minority government in Ängelholm municipality consisting of the Moderates, the Center Party, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals.
