During a speech in the US state of Colorado, the US President spoke about the courage of the military who participated in World War II and fought against the troops of Nazi Germany.
“I say this as the father of a man who received a Bronze Star, a Distinguished Service Medal and lost his life in Iraq,” the American leader said.
The eldest son of US President Beau Biden served in Iraq in 2008-2009.
In 2015, he died of brain cancer.
At the end of September, during a conference in Washington, Biden tried to find a member of the US House of Representatives, Jackie Valorsky, who died in August in a car accident.
