The school inspectorate has found a series of serious deficiencies at Okome school in Falkenberg municipality.

A large part of the students risk not reaching the knowledge goals and, among other things, the study environment does not meet the requirements.

The president of the parents' association, Veronica Palm, believes that many shortcomings had to do with poor communication from the school management, where the parents were not involved in what happened during the school days.

- It was very much a one-way communication, where you received a call or a text message after the day was over, she says.

In the clip, she talks about the situation at the school and how she feels that the parents were disconnected from the students' everyday life.
