The Conakry stadium massacre trial is adjourned until next Monday, October 17.

This Wednesday was the 6th day of hearing.

Once again, Moussa Tiegboro Camara appeared.

He was at the material time the Secretary of State in charge of the fight against drugs and organized crime.

Several witnesses saw him at the stadium with his men where, as a reminder, an opposition meeting was bloodily repressed, killing more than 150 people.

Third day of hearing this week and the same routine every morning.

Moussa Tiegboro Camara

is called to the bar.

It is 10:30 a.m. when he comes forward in a beige suit with shoulder pads, stands in front of the desk and answers questions standing up.

He is tall.

He must grab the microphone, bring it close to his mouth to speak.

Questioned by the defence, he recounts once again his day of September 28, 2009. How he braved the danger, he said, to go to the stadium and save the political leaders he found there.

Then comes the prosecutor's turn.

Tiegboro is much less at ease, he is even feverish.

He claims to have seen no corpse or rape scene near the stadium.

Women were running in all directions, half-naked women, their clothes in tatters, they were filmed on the stadium esplanade

,” retorted the prosecutor, who underlined the inconsistencies in Tiegboro's story.

It took three days to question an accused.

They are 10 still to have to take the stand.

It will take months to hear all the witnesses and the many victims in the case.

In the middle of the afternoon began the appearance of Marcel Guilavogui, bodyguard of the head of the junta at the time.
