When North Korea launched a ballistic missile on the 4th of this month, the government issued evacuation information to the relevant areas with J Alert, but at the time it was sent to Aomori Prefecture, it was said that the missile had passed over the vicinity of the prefecture. It is presumed, and there are voices pointing out the delay in transmission from the government and the Liberal Democratic Party.



Regarding this, Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno said at a press conference, "In light of various opinions regarding the transmission of J-Alert even earlier, relevant ministries and agencies will work together to consider improvement measures." We have clarified our policy of considering improvement measures for prompt information dissemination.



In addition, in order to lead to a review of how to call for evacuation, he also indicated that he would conduct a questionnaire survey to understand how local residents received the J-Alert.
