Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed, on Tuesday, his openness to a dialogue with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant located in southern Ukraine, which has been under the control of Russia since last March.

When receiving the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, in St. Petersburg, in southwest Russia, Putin said that the talks will address all issues of common interest or that may raise concerns, for example, the situation in the vicinity of the Zaporizhia nuclear plant, and added: In any case, we are open to this dialogue."
