Prime Minister Kishida told Komeito leader Yamaguchi of his intention to present concrete measures as soon as possible regarding the support system for easing the burden of electricity charges, which will be the pillar of the government's new comprehensive economic measures.

Prime Minister Kishida met with Komeito representative Yamaguchi at the Prime Minister's official residence on the afternoon of the 11th, and confirmed that the government and ruling parties will work together to compile new comprehensive economic measures in response to soaring prices.



After that, Prime Minister Kishida conveyed his intention to show concrete measures as soon as possible regarding the support system to alleviate the burden of electricity charges, which he plans to take unprecedented drastic measures.



Regarding measures to reduce the burden of gas charges, he said, "I would like to have the ruling party's members in the appropriate positions discuss it, and while adjusting the government's thinking, I would like to inform the public quickly and in an easy-to-understand manner."
