[Explanation] Since he first came to the mainland in 2005, Zheng Wenqin's entrepreneurial footprints have traveled all over the coastal areas and inland areas of the mainland.

With his help, dozens of Taiwanese youths and compatriots crossed the strait and joined hands with mainland youths to build their dreams.

Talking about the experience and experience of the mainland for more than ten years, Zheng Wenqin said with a smile that family is his biggest gain.

Recently, Zheng Wenqin told China News Agency reporter his story.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

The first time I came to the mainland was in the second half of 2005. I partnered with a few friends to do some cross-strait trade business, and I was in charge of purchasing on the mainland.

[Explanation] The frequent cross-strait exchanges made him unfamiliar with the mainland, yearning, and then deciding to take root.

Different from Taiwanese young people who choose to start a business directly, Zheng Wenqin chose to work first to quickly become familiar with and integrate into the mainland environment.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

  (I) came to the mainland (development) in 2007, thinking that it would be better to have a stable income in the mainland, so I first found a relatively stable job. When I encountered the global financial crisis in 2008, I did not I didn't get very good grades in that job, but the purpose of (my) coming to the mainland was to start a business.

[Explanation] Since 2009, Zheng Wenqin decided to resign to start a business.

He has successively invested in hot pot restaurants, milk tea shops, trading companies, etc. in many places in mainland China, and has been involved in many industries and regions.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

My personality may be more like a diversified life, as long as I feel interested and I feel that I have more energy, I will try it out.

[Commentary] Zheng Wenqin's experience in "Traveling Around the World" in the mainland has made Zheng Wenqin better understand the mainland market and the needs of Taiwan compatriots.

In 2016, Zheng Wenqin came to Nanjing with the team.

This time, Zheng Wenqin not only focused on his own entrepreneurship, but also used his experience to become a "ferryman" for young entrepreneurial entrepreneurs in Taiwan, connecting more Taiwanese young people and coming to the mainland to start a business and find employment.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

Nanjing does have some of its location advantages, and its location is actually just in the middle of the north-south traffic hub.

Compared with Shanghai, the cost of living may not be so high. Compared with other places, it is a commercial center closer to the Yangtze River Delta (center).

[Explanation] Regarding the rooting and development in Nanjing, Zheng Wenqin said that Nanjing has issued a series of policies that benefit Taiwan compatriots, and the local Taiwan Affairs Office has also provided very considerate services, which is also an important reason for the stable development of his company in the local area.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

I think the most helpful thing is to say that when something happens, I have a "maternal family" to ask them.

The Nanjing Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office now arranges (solves) the problem of Taiwanese children going to school every year. Only when the backyard matters are resolved can we concentrate on our careers.

In many activities, the Nanjing Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office also allows us to expand our horizons and get to know many outstanding Taiwanese youths from other places, (also) there are many good business resources in Nanjing.

[Commentary] Zheng Wenqin has seen the booming market prospects and consumption vitality of the mainland, and he is full of confidence in his current work.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

Now I have two companies and one main platform in Nanjing.

My platform is the Jiangsu Representative Office of the China Cross-Strait Exchange Association, where (I) is responsible for the cross-strait technology industry, mainly on the two sides of the strait, and organizes some talent project docking activities.

When I put all the talents and projects in the Yangtze River Delta and Nanjing, it actually needs some follow-up (demands) including intellectual property, technological equipment, and technological talents to help them land.

[Commentary] With more than ten years of experience in employment and entrepreneurship in the mainland, Zheng Wenqin has a better understanding of the needs of Taiwan compatriots and how to "fit" with them.

In his view, the mainland is currently in the process of transforming from a traditional world factory to a world market, and there are many opportunities for young people on both sides of the strait.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

We still see many opportunities in the mainland. Now there are 5G construction and new energy construction, which are actually projects that talents in Taiwan's traditional technology industry can go to.

In addition, including rural revitalization, I actually think that more of these talents can come to the mainland (come).

[Explanation] For the development of young people on both sides of the strait, Zheng Wenqin attaches great importance to "joining hands".

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

(I suggest) Don’t fight alone, and don’t just hang out with Taiwanese, you have to do some integration and some discussions with people who understand the local culture, so that you can know the future direction.

[Commentary] When it comes to the biggest gain of his years in the mainland, Zheng Wenqin said with a smile that the biggest gain is his family.

  [Concurrent] Taiwanese youth Zheng Wenqin

Of course, the biggest gain is that I have met many friends on the mainland.

I married a wife in the mainland. I married a very virtuous wife who helped me a lot. Then we also have a very lovely daughter, who brought a lot of happiness and laughter to our family. That is also the biggest backing for my active struggle in the mainland.
