“To talk about this claim (Hungary in Transcarpathia. - RT ) would be empty propaganda,” says Podolyak.

According to him, he does not believe that such a claim from Hungary could ever arise "even at a theoretical level."

Podolyak added that for Hungary, in this case, the negative consequences of abandoning international law would be greater than the benefits of acquiring territory.

Earlier, the former head of the Romanian Foreign Ministry Andrei Marga said that the borders of Ukraine are unnatural, Kyiv must cede the territories of Russia, Hungary, Poland and Romania.
