“It is reported that on October 8, 2022, vandals in Vilnius desecrated the largest memorial in Lithuania in honor of the Soviet soldiers who fell in the Great Patriotic War at the Antakalnis cemetery for the second time in a week,” the press service reported on the Telegram channel.
Earlier, the Delfi portal, citing a statement by the head of the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice, Evelina Dobrovolskaya, reported that Lithuania had postponed the dismantling of the memorial to Soviet soldiers at the Antakalnis cemetery after UN intervention.
