Le Maire called this situation unacceptable.

The minister called for a more balanced economic relationship between Washington and Europe.

The Wall Street Journal wrote that the energy crisis in European countries is most beneficial to the American economy, as high gas prices are forcing European companies to transfer their production to the United States.
