France condemned US attempts to establish economic dominance at the expense of Europe

“We must not allow the economic dominance of the United States and the weakening of Europe to result from the Ukrainian conflict,” TASS quoted Le Maire as saying.

According to the politician, the United States sells liquefied natural gas to European buyers four times more expensive than to American industrialists.

Le Maire called this situation unacceptable.

The minister called for a more balanced economic relationship between Washington and Europe.

As Senator Alexei Pushkov said earlier, the United States is deliberately harming the EU economy in order to gain political control over Brussels.

The Wall Street Journal wrote that the energy crisis in European countries is most beneficial to the American economy, as high gas prices are forcing European companies to transfer their production to the United States.
