A man was found dead in a square in Sedan (Ardennes) on Friday evening.
Firefighters responded to the scene after receiving a call shortly before 10 p.m.
Upon their arrival, the rescuers discovered the victim in cardiorespiratory arrest, reports Radio 8 Ardennes.
Resuscitation attempts were immediately made.
These multiple attempts were nevertheless unsuccessful, the firefighters told France 3 Grand Est.
They also specified that the deceased man was born in 1976 and that his body had been found “in a grove”.
An investigation is underway
The park in question is one of those located along Avenue Charles-de-Gaulle.
A police investigation has been launched in an attempt to clarify the circumstances of the death of the forties.
However, the rescuers have already mentioned a “natural” death.
