Thing promised thing due.

Saturday afternoon, the Place du Parlement de Bretagne in Rennes was the scene of a spectacular demonstration.

A giant gwenn ha, presented as the largest Breton flag in the world, was unfurled by members of the A la bretonne association in order to challenge elected officials and the population on the theme of the reunification of the region.

True sea serpent, the subject advances slowly but surely according to its members.

As proof, the region has for example recently validated the order of an impact study of a redistricting to five departments.

“This year, 21 Breton parliamentarians (including 7 from Loire-Atlantique) have undertaken in writing to initiate the legislative process allowing this vote by Loire-Atlantique voters for reunification.

Our association will get back in touch with them in order to concretize these commitments”, indicate its members in a press release.

This same flag, 46 m long by 31 m wide and weighing 300 kg, had already been deployed in front of the castle of the Dukes of Brittany, in Nantes, in February 2022, in the hope of challenging the candidates for the presidential election.
