He spoke about this in an interview with TASS.

“It makes no sense for NATO to take on obligations to protect Ukraine,” Miroshnik said.

In his opinion, the alliance intends to supply Ukraine with weapons and money as long as it benefits from prolonging the conflict.

“Then they will simply finish the operation, as it was in Afghanistan,” Miroshnik concluded.

Earlier, Federation Council Chairman Valentina Matvienko said that Western countries are trying to implement plans to destroy Russia at the hands of Ukrainians.
