Kuwait postpones the first parliamentary session to October 18

Today, Saturday, the Kuwait News Agency reported that the first session of parliament after the elections has been postponed until October 18.

Kuwait's Crown Prince reappointed Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Sabah, son of the Emir of Kuwait, as prime minister on Wednesday, and later approved a new government after legislative elections.

The government has not yet taken the constitutional oath due to the objection of more than forty deputies.

Local media said the ministers had put their resignations at the prime minister's disposal.
