This year's Nobel Peace Prize goes to human rights groups in Russia and Ukraine

Former Soviet Belarusian human rights activists and Russian and Ukrainian human rights groups were selected for this year's Nobel Peace Prize.

Among them, the Russian human rights group is "Memorial", which has been working on accusations of political repression in the former Soviet Union and monitoring of human rights violations in Russia and Central Asia.
