The report says that Putin was congratulated by telephone by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Japarov, Cuban head Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and Kazakhstan's first president Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The Kremlin added that Putin receives a lot of congratulations from heads of state and government of other countries, heads of international organizations, as well as representatives of public and political circles.

Putin will also be congratulated by the leaders of the CIS member countries gathered for an informal meeting in St. Petersburg.

Earlier it was reported that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko intends to present a BELARUS tractor for Putin's 70th birthday.
